10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our Platform. These fall into two categories:
10.1 Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. They include:
- Authentication and session cookies to keep you logged in
- Security cookies to protect your account
- Preference cookies (e.g., theme selection)
10.2 Advertising and Analytics Cookies
With your consent, we use third-party tracking technologies for advertising and analytics purposes:
- Google Ads (gtag.js) — We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This may collect data about your interactions with our ads and website, including pages visited and actions taken (e.g., sign-ups). Data is sent to Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook) — We use the Meta Pixel to measure ad performance, build targeted audiences, and track conversions from Facebook and Instagram ads. This may collect data about your browsing behaviour on our Platform. Data is sent to Meta and is subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
10.3 Your Cookie Choices
When you first visit our Platform, a cookie consent banner will appear giving you the choice to:
- Accept all cookies — enables advertising and analytics tracking
- Reject non-essential cookies — only essential cookies are used; no data is sent to Google or Meta
Your preference is saved and remembered for future visits. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will cause the consent banner to reappear.
10.4 Google Consent Mode
We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which ensures that Google's tracking services respect your consent choice. When you reject non-essential cookies, all Google advertising and analytics storage is denied, and no tracking cookies are set by Google on your device.
